Pinkie was born to Ursi, here at Auchenstroan, in spring 2017.  While born in the year for which sheep should be named with a starting letter of ‘X’, she is called Pinkie as, for her first few days, she wore a little pink jumper to keep her warm.  Pinkie was great fun as a lamb and frequently bounded up onto our shoulders if we happened to be sitting down.

Pinkie has blossomed into a healthy ewe.  She likes her pats and comes over to say hello whenever we are with the sheep.  Except, of course, when she’s eating – eating always comes first.
