Stock for sale – pedigree, registered coloured ryeland lambs and rams for sale

2018 stock

We have 8 ewe lambs and 2 rams for sale at present. The lambs will be old enough to move after 20 August. We are having to sell the rams as they are now both are related to a number of our younger ewes. All are pedigree, registered (RFBS), vaccinated and are in excellent health. We also have a number of wethers that we could sell. We have 8 in total and would be looking to keep at least 4, but could be persuaded to sell the others to a good home.

You are most welcome to come and visit us and see our flock. We can also offer advice to anyone starting a new flock.

Coloured Ryeland sheep are easy to handle and ideal for the smallholder. All our sheep have has been inoculated (Hep P+).

Born a single, Wart has developed into a strong, good looking ram. He has a good temperament, is used to being handled and is halter trained. He enjoys human company. He is big for his age, helped by a diet of good grass and nuts. He produced 8 lambs from 4 ewes this year (4 boys and 4 girls).

Born a twin, Wallace had an easy birth, a good mother and has developed into a strong, healthy ram. A bit more lively than Wart, he enjoys playing. He is used to being handled and is halter trained. He is developing well fueled by good grass and a steady diet of coarse nuts. He produced 11 lambs (5 boys and 6 girls) from 6 ewes this year.
